As a Student Representative, you’ll join a community where your ideas and perspectives are valued, and your voice matters. What does a Student Representative do?

You're a Representative

You’ll get to represent Hometown Veterinary Partners at campus events, career fairs, and student organization meetings, and assist in organizing and hosting informational sessions, workshops, and webinars.

You're a Changemaker

Engage with other students on social media and other platforms that you’re already using to provide valuable feedback on student interests and trends to help shape Hometown Veterinary Partners initiatives.

You're a Liaison

Regularly communicate with university faculty, career counselors, and student representatives to foster strong relationships and identify opportunities for HVP support and connections.

You're an Influencer

Work with the marketing team to share information on campus and on social media.

What's included as a Student Representative?

As a Student Representative, you’ll have the chance to work closely with our teams to represent Hometown Veterinary Partners at campus events, career fairs, and student organization meetings. You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact, network, and get a jump start on your career as a veterinary leader.

Are Representatives paid?

Absolutely! We provide a $1,500 annual stipend to our Student Representatives in recognition of your time and contributions, provided that your college permits it.

What qualifications are required?
To become a Student Representative for Hometown Veterinary Partners, you must be currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited College of Veterinary Medicine. We’re looking for individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can work both independently and as part of a team. You should be comfortable using social media platforms for promotional purposes and have a genuine passion for representing Hometown Veterinary Partners and promoting its values.
