Urgent Care

We can provide urgent care procedures during our open hours, serving pets experiencing urgent symptoms such as coughing, ear infections, growths, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, poisoning, scooting, cuts or lacerations, eye infections, limping, persistent scratching, rashes, and urinary issues. While we’re not an emergency hospital, we’re equipped to handle critical situations and offer immediate care for your pet’s well-being.



Peaceful Passing

We offer a dedicated Comfort Room with a private entrance, ensuring added privacy during difficult moments. Our peaceful passing services, along with grief support, are thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, compassion, and dignity for both pets and their families during this challenging time.

Laboratory & Diagnostics

Diagnostic testing plays a crucial role in identifying and treating health issues in pets. We offer a range of diagnostic tests and in-house laboratory to accurately assess your pet’s health and guide treatment decisions.



Spay & Neuter

Spaying and neutering are surgical procedures performed under anesthesia by our experienced veterinary team. Our team will discuss the associated benefits for your pet and walk you through each step of your pet’s care. We require an exam to ensure your pet is a candidate for surgery and can provide cost estimates at that time.



Dental Care

Our dental cleaning services are designed to keep your pet’s teeth and gums healthy, ensuring a lifetime of good oral hygiene. Regular dental cleanings are essential for preventing dental disease and maintaining your pet’s overall health and well-being. By addressing dental issues early, we can help prevent pain, infection, and other serious health problems down the road.

Wellness Exams

Our wellness/annual exams are designed to provide proactive care and ensure your pet’s well-being year-round. During these comprehensive exams, we will provide a complete physical examination, vaccinations if due, parasite prevention, nutritional counseling, dental evaluation, behavioral assessment, and senior pet screenings if indicated.

What animals do you see at Hometown Veterinary Partners?

Currently, we specialize in serving our feline and canine friends. Typically, we refer birds, exotics, and pocket pets (hamster, guinea pig, rabbit, chinchillas, gerbils), and other small pet patients to the nearest hospital that specializes in their unique care. If you have any questions or concerns about the care of your pet, please don’t hesitate to call us for guidance and referrals.

What types of payment do you take?

We accept major credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) or cash at the time of service. Payment plans are available through Scratch Pay. Feel free to contact us with any payment inquiries.

Do you offer cat-only rooms?

We understand that cats have unique needs and can often feel stressed or anxious around dogs. To ensure a calm and comfortable environment for our feline friends, our larger locations offer cat-only exam and treatment rooms. These rooms are designed to provide a peaceful and safe space for your cat, free from the presence and smell of dogs.

For our locations that do not have cat-only rooms, we use a low-stress handling approach including pheromone diffusers, and minimizing wait times and interactions with dogs. If you are concerned about your cat’s anxiety, contact our hospital and review our tips to help reduce your cat’s anxiety during transport and visits to the vet. Do you have an emergency fee for same-day appointments?

For urgent care appointments, there is a $125 office visit fee.

Please note that any diagnostics or treatments needed will incur additional costs, which will vary based on the doctor’s assessment and your pet’s specific needs during their visit.

Do you have emergency diagnostics?

We have a full in-suite lab to allow us to run the critical bloodwork as well as a partnership with a wonderful reference lab that gets us additional answers within 24 hours. This initial assessment can help determine if more aggressive therapies or 24-hospitalization referrals are needed. We also have full-body radiographs and can send more complex issues out to a review with a boarded radiologist and have additional answers back within 1 hour.

How do we know if we should go to you or an emergency hospital?

We will do our best to triage over the phone to assess what the issue is and whether we can support you or if additional help may be warranted.

Do you take walk-ins?

We do our best to accommodate walk-ins. We ask that you call in advance to make sure we have the team and equipment to support your pet’s particular problem. This also allows us to give you a specific time so that your wait is minimal and your pet is able to be prioritized.



My super anxious dog (3.5 yr old mini Schnauzer) did great getting his annual exam and vaccine. Dr. Abby and staff did an amazing job! With a previous vet my dog needed to be sedated, but Dr. Abby knows her stuff! She made adjustments and distracted him with treats while giving vaccines and the exam. Thanks, Dr. Abby and team!

I had come to Hometown when it was still Silver Lake animal hospital. My dog had been a patient of silver lake for 7 years when it changed hands over to Dr Abby (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly.)I am blown away at the new staff’s empathy and level of care, and from what I hear, their current renovations are driving at caretaking pets and their owners to an even higher degree. Change is scary, but the new practice here is incredible. I will be continuing to bring my pets here for the foreseeable future

If you want a vet clinic with caring, efficient and knowledgeable staff, this is the place to bring your pet(s). Dr. Abi and her staff make you feel welcomed from beginning to end. Patiently answering every question to reassure you and then taking the time to walk you through every step of the way to bring your pet into better health. I noticed that some reviews speak of a Dr. Frost and comparing the two. I guess this was a former owner and though I never met him/her, for me, there's no comparison at all. You honestly can't ask for a better vet to take care of your Prince (or Princess). I have no regrets whatsoever and am so glad I made the decision to move to Dr. Abi and her team. Compassionate, thoughtful, beyond knowledgeable and almost intuitive in her care. Very individualized care with comparative costs tbh. Modern, clean and yet welcoming without making you feel like just another number to process. Dealt with my anxious one like a pro and got him through his examination seamlessly. This is my choice of vet hands down for as long as we live in the area. Thank you Dr. Abi!

I had a great experience with Dr. Abi and Dr. Paige. While I was extremely worried when I found out Dr. Frost was retiring and Chaya would no longer be there, I had a conversation with Dr. Abi over the phone about my concerns related to my kids (frenchies), and I felt much better after talking to her. Recently I had to bring one of my dogs in due to allergies that she recently developed, and again I was extremely worried because Dr. Abi who I was somewhat familiar with wasn’t available, so we had to see Dr. Paige. Dr. Paige listened to my concerns, discussed our options, and answered all of my questions. She was very gentle with my dog and showed her so much love. Dr. Abi even stopped by to say hi.I had a lot of different emotions when I learned that Dr. Frost was retiring - mostly because my dogs are high maintenance and Dr. Frost always listened to my concerns and showed so much compassion. While there will only ever be ONE Dr. Frost, Dr. Abi and Dr. Paige have been great and I will continue to bring my kids to them.

I recently had a sick pet and the vet team in this building were so nice and supportive of any options and explained options and terms clearly. When the results of my pet did not turn out the way we wanted it to they supported and helped us through putting down our cat. As someone who hasn’t done this before I felt cared for! This is our family vet. This is the first place our cats are taken for medical care with genuine heart. Dr. Frost is a kind, experienced gentleman and the rest of the staff are great, too. In addition to the great care, the prices are fair, unlike other nearby places that have been taken over by a large corporation.
